I had such a moment not too long ago. I had viewed a movie entitled, 27 Dresses, in which
the main character, Jane, found her self in the proverbial idiom, "always a bridesmaid, never a bride". Jane embodied the ideal brides maid by always tending to the littlest details that made that special day of vow exchange perfection for the bride and groom, thus the title of the movie, "27 Dresses". There is a moment in the movie where Jane is talking about her favorite part of the wedding ceremony and she says:"You know how the bride makes her entrance and everybody turns to look at her? That’s when I look at the groom. Cause his face says it all and you know the pure love there."
That moment reminded me of our son Micah's wedding this past summer. As his mother I was watching his face to see his expression when he saw his beautiful bride Heidi walking down the isle towards him and their future together. In his face I saw pure love and delight to the point that he had tears brimming in his eyes.

It was the lover of my soul ... Jesus! Waves of tears flooded down my cheeks as I began to imagine Jesus, the perfect bridegroom, coming to retrieve his Bride. I imagined the pure love and delight in his eyes as he was finally able to come and take his bride, that he had sacrificed ALL for, HOME!! It was almost overwhelming!!

I trust that when he comes to take me home that my focus won't be on the wonder of the moment but that I will truly be able to see his face!! "Cause his face says it all and you know the pure love there!"
