I enJOY my java!!! I love the aroma as it wafts through the air. Many wonderful memories have been made in it's company ... books were read, the warmth of glowing fires were enjoyed and laughter or deep conversation were savored. So let's enjoy the journey over a cup!!

THIS IS NOT MY HOME

WE ARE MOVING!! That is not an easy thing to wrap my mind around. We've lived here in Branson for over 12 years. This is where our children were raised. This is where we have so many memories ... though not all pleasant ... they are our memories. The reality of life is that we don't always find a place to call "HOME" and live out our days creating relationships, doing ministry and building careers around that one location. But is "HOME" really a location? Or is it just a state of mind? Aren't we all just on a journey towards "HOME"? Should we really ever feel at rest in a physical location or is our rest found in the presence of our God? In his presence ... "the things of earth will grow strangely dim". Today, I choose to not look at the chaos of the "THE MOVE", but to live in the knowledge that this is not my "HOME".
